AROUND FIFE
Each week, we highlight positive news stories, hidden gems, and local experiences to explore.
π From Sand to Seagrass: Help Shape Fifeβs Shoreline

Weβve all been enjoying the great weather recently, and for many of us, thatβs meant time well spent down at the beach. But if youβve taken an early morning walk or scrolled through local social media, youβll have seen the impact busy beach days can have: litter, damaged habitats, and more.
To help tackle this, Fife Communities Climate Action Network and Fife Climate Hub have teamed up with partners like The Ecology Centre, Marine Conservation Society, and Restoration Forth to launch a series of hands-on events this spring and summer. These sessions are a great way to get involved in local conservation efforts and help protect the amazing ecosystems along Fifeβs coast. Check out the next three events below:
π± Seagrass Spotter Session: Join The Ecology Centre and Restoration Forth to learn how to identify and log seagrass sightings using the Seagrass Spotter app. Your observations will contribute to important research and protection efforts.
