The Collagen Your Morning Routine Has Been Missing
Most collagen supplements deliver on one promise. Carrara delivers on five.
Pique's Carrara Marine Collagen combines Type I marine collagen for visible skin radiance with rare Type II collagen from wild Hokkaido salmon, a first-of-its-kind pairing that supports both surface glow and deeper structural resilience. Add biotin for stronger hair and nails, micronized pearl powder for luminosity, and a rich coconut cream base that makes your daily ritual feel indulgent rather than obligatory.
This isn't a supplement you tolerate. It's one you look forward to. Stir it into your morning coffee or matcha and it works from the inside out to build the foundation beauty products can't reach.
Designed for superior absorption, results come faster than traditional collagen. Not a quick fix. A long-term investment in how you look and feel. π§ββοΈβ¨

LOCAL HEADLINES YOU NEED TO KNOW
π· Fife Council is reviewing more than 80 trust funds holding Β£2.5 million after concerns that much of the money is sitting unused instead of supporting local causes. Officials say outdated rules and missing paperwork have left some funds unable to distribute money, with work now underway to modernise or transfer them to active charities and community organisations.
π₯ Knockhill Distillery has begun producing premium gins and blended whisky from its family-run site near Dunfermline, with plans to distil and mature its own whisky on-site in the future. The business is focusing on local ingredients and suppliers, including Fife-grown berries for its pink berry gin.
π§ The University of St Andrews is helping lead a major new international project using AI and big data to improve how infectious disease outbreaks are predicted and managed across Africa. The β¬1.3 million AFRITRAC initiative will train 28 specialists in epidemiology and disease modelling across eight African countries over the next four years.
β St Andrews Harbour Trust is moving ahead with the next phase of its planned harbour hub project, with engineering and archaeological investigations due to begin next week at the historic medieval harbour. The proposed development includes an accessible cafΓ©, marine facilities, harbour offices and heritage displays.
π₯ Fife College has launched its first commercial catering gas engineering training programme in partnership with industry body ceda and several Scottish engineering firms.
πΏ Fife Councilβs Life Chances programme is helping residents into paid work, with 12 participants this year moving into seasonal Grounds Maintenance roles after gaining skills and experience through supported placements. Life Chances placement opportunities are advertised here.
π Additional repair work is now underway at the Dysart Harbour sea wall after inspections confirmed that salvaged sandstone blocks can be reused to rebuild and strengthen sections of the structure. The Β£300,000 works are being carried out while contractors are already on site and are intended to reduce further erosion and lower the overall cost of long-term harbour repairs.
π’ An Β£8 million transport barge has been officially named Navantia UK Seahorse at the Methil shipyard in Fife, marking a key milestone in the UK Ministry of Defenceβs Fleet Solid Support programme. The vessel will support the construction of Royal Navy supply ships by transporting large ship blocks between UK yards, with the Methil facility playing a central role in its operations.
π· A Β£15,000 Russell Trust Scholarship fund has supported 143 Fife College students this year, helping them pay for essential study materials and equipment. The long-running scheme, which has awarded over Β£242,500 since 1999, aims to reduce financial barriers for learners across Fife.
TODAYβS TOP STORY
π₯Ύ Fife Town Named UK's Most Accessible
With spring in full swing and the weather finally warming up, many of us will already have been out exploring the Kingdom's walking trails. But it's not just the rural routes worth celebrating, Fife's towns and villages also offer plenty of great places to wander. That view is backed up by Ordnance Survey, which has ranked Britain's most walkable towns, and one Fife village in particular has performed remarkably well.
OS analysed every town and city, along with a 4km buffer around each settlement, to assess walkability. Their model combined national data on roads, paths, and off-road routes with information on elevation, gradients, traffic levels, and street lighting. Green space and Met Office weather data were also included to account for resilience to wind, rain, and muddy conditions. Scores were then adjusted for population size to ensure fair comparisons between places.
Once all the data was processed, Culross ranked fourth overall in the UK, with only Aviemore, Ballater, and Keswick finishing higher. Fife's success didn't stop there either. When it comes to accessibility, the Kingdom dominated: Leslie was named Britain's most accessible town for wheelchairs and pushchairs, with Markinch second, Glenrothes sixth, and St Andrews eighth. Leslie also ranked eighth for winter evening walks thanks to good street lighting and well-maintained surfaces. Check out the full rankings here.
