πͺ΅ Timeless Teak Furniture From a Fife Family Business

Spring is coming, and there's no better time to upgrade your outdoor space with furniture that actually lasts.
J&S Teak Furniture, a family-run business right here in Fife, specialises in premium teak garden furniture that's built to withstand Scottish weather without the constant maintenance other wood requires.
Unlike other types of wood, which need yearly oiling, varnishing, and painting, teak naturally contains oils that protect it from rain, wind, and UV damage. Built using traditional mortise and tenon joints, each piece is kiln-dried and finely sanded for a beautiful, natural finish that lasts a lifetime.
Why customers choose J&S Teak Furniture:
Local family business with over 10 years of experience
100% solid FSC-certified teak
Naturally weather-resistant β no annual oiling needed
FREE UK delivery & assembly
2-year guarantee
70+ five-star Google reviews
From benches to 10-seater dining sets, explore the full range at jandsteakfurniture.com, or call 01592 394685 or 07447 090989 to discuss your garden plans.

π©Ί Fife Selected for Walk-In GP Pilot
Good news arrived this week for anyone who has ever spent a frantic morning trying to get through to their GP surgery, with NHS Fife having been selected for Phase 2 of the Scottish Government's National Primary Care Walk-in Service. The pilot will offer same-day, face-to-face assessment and treatment for urgent but non-life-threatening concerns, with no appointment needed. A "central, highly accessible" location is being lined up, though the exact site, launch date and opening hours are still to be confirmed in the coming months.
GP practices here have been facing rising demand alongside growing numbers of registered patients, and that pressure has real consequences locally. The new service is designed to take some of the strain off both GP surgeries and A&E departments, by giving people a proper primary care alternative for conditions that don't warrant an emergency department but can't wait a fortnight either.
It's a similar model to the pilot that launched at Wester Hailes in Edinburgh earlier this month, open seven days a week from noon to 8pm with no appointment needed. Fife will be one of 16 planned sites across Scotland, with the central Fife location part of a second stage of the roll-out that hopes to deliver over one million additional GP and nurse appointments across Scotland.
We've already seen NHS Fife lead the way nationally with AI-assisted MRI scanning cutting waiting times, and it's great to see the Kingdom once again involved in innovative new ways to access care.
