Letβs jump in, thereβs plenty to talk about!

Someone just spent $236,000,000 on a painting. Hereβs why it matters for your wallet.
Late last year, a Klimt sold for the highest price ever paid for modern art at auction.
An outlier sure, but it wasn't a fluke. U.S. auction sales grew 23.1% in 2025. The $1-5mm segment even grew 40.8% YoY.
Now, the S&P, teetering on all time highs, just posted its worst quarter since 2022, oil was up 94% (briefly), and Moody's puts recession odds at 48.6%.
Each environment is unique, but after dot-com, post war and contemporary art grew about 24% annually for a decade. After 2008, about 11% for 12 years.
Itβs also had near-zero correlation with the S&P 500 since β95.*
Now, Masterworks lets you invest in shares of artworks featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso.
$1.3 billion invested across over 500 artworks.
28 sales to date.
Net annualized returns on sold works held 12 months+ like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8%.
Shares can sell quickly, but my subscribers can skip the waitlist:

TODAYβS TOP STORY
π Are These Fife Hotels the Best in Scotland?

Rusacks St. Andrews
Scotland is well covered in terms of luxurious hotels, with Andy Murray's Cromlix Hotel near Dunblane, Fonab Hotel in Pitlochry, and The Balmoral in Edinburgh, to name just a few, with many of these popular both with tourists visiting Scotland and those looking for a place to stay closer to home for a special occasion. However, many of Fife's best hotels don't always get the plaudits, and that's why it's great to see some recognition from the Prestige Hotel Awards Scotland 2026, with several establishments from the Kingdom shortlisted.
Whilst two hotels from Fife feature in the Best 5* Hotel category, the awards seek to recognise hotels across a range of categories that aren't always in the spotlight, with Fife also seeing entries in the Best Pet Friendly Hotel and a very strong showing in the Best Coastal Hotel category.
Dean Park Hotel (Kirkcaldy) - Best Events/Conference Hotel, Best 4* Hotel, and Best Afternoon Tea
DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Queensferry (Inverkeithing) - Best Coastal Hotel and Best Wedding Hotel
Rusacks St Andrews (St Andrews) - Best 5* Hotel, Best Concierge, Best General Manager, and Best Golf Hotel
Seaton House (St Andrews) - Best Hotel Restaurant, Best 5* Hotel, and Best Coastal Hotel
The Harbour Inn (Anstruther) - Best Pet Friendly Hotel and Best Coastal Hotel
